Since Ace the Zombie is wandering around this fine country, I’ll try to remember to announce when and where you can watch this work of art.
Currently we will be showing Ace the Zombie at the first Horror Convention to come to Atlanta ‘Days of the dead II: Atlanta’ http://www.daysofthedead.net/atlanta/. The director (Giles aka The DeVille) and myself will be presenting the movie. The showing will be at 6PM on Friday March 9th. Come out and show your support for all things zombie and all things indy films. If you are one of the lucky ones to have a copy of Z Day is Here, bring it and I’ll sign it free of charge!
This movie was a lot of fun to make and is a lot of fun to watch, but please don’t bring your kids, as I have a potty mouth and it really shows in the script.
Speaking of potty mouth, I will also be a guest on Pop Odyssey radio This coming Tuesday night (2/21/2012) at 9pm Eastern. You can get to it by following this link:
http://www.popodysseyradio.com/2012/
You can (and are encouraged to) call in to the radio show to ask questions or make comments. Since I am not a very entertaining person, I request everyone call in as much as possible. The number is 615-866-1323 or 888-375-3123. I am told that the lines fill up quickly, so make sure you get in early and keep the number on speed dial. I plan on spilling the beans on some secret projects that I have been doing all ninja style, so be sure to listen to the entire two hours.
In Z Day News, the short film is moving forward and gaining steam. After the script changing hands numerous times, it has landed back in my grubby sausage fingers. I will be making my directorial debut with this short film. Keep an eye out for more information on casting and the perrills of making a short film.
There is a teaser movie poster floating around that I will be posting below for your entertainment. This is just a teaser, but I think you can really get the feeling of the movie based on it.
As always, feel free to email me. I try to answer all my emails.
The time has come for the world premiere of the feature film Ace the Zombie that I co-wrote. It has beena few years in the making, but it will finally be seen by the public. The premiere is happening at The Plaza theater in Atlanta Sunday Jan. 22nd at 9pm. Tickets will be sold and arm bands given starting around 8pm. Before the movie, there will be a short Q&A with myself and others involved with the film. Proceedes will go towards saving the Plaza. Come on out and show your support for indy film in Atlanta. Plus you will see me limping around…what fun
So I have been absent a little while from here and wanted to update everyone on what I have been working on – and believe me, I have been busting my writing butt!
So ‘Z Day is Here:One Year Later’ is still in progress – Yes, yes, yes, I know I have been promising this book for a while. I can not give an exact date as to when it will be out, but I promise you it will see the light of day.
One of the current projects I am working on is a Children’s Picture Book. I have written the story and have been speaking with an illustrator. I have been looking around for an agent to help see this book and have my fingers crossed. I am really excited for you all to read this one!
Next I am currently working on a Crytozoology anthology with a wonderful author named Alisha Sams. We hope to bring you stories of the strange and bizarre in the world of Crypto. Look for this book to come out sometime later this year.
Script wise, I am working on a couple projects that I can not talk about right now, but as soon as I can, I will post all the details on here.
So see, I haven’t been slacking as much as it seems!
Here is my Spooky Empire 2011 Schedule. Come by and see me. I may do a song and dance…Yes, you do want to see me dance.

Here is the new trailer for the movie ‘Ace the Zombie’ that I co-wrote.
I will be a guest at Spooky Empire’s Ultimate Horror Weekend again this year! Come out to one of my favorite conventions!!
Every year I go to conventions both large and small, but always find that I have the best time and get to meet the best fans ever at Spooky Empire in Orlando, FL. The guest line up is like no other and getting to meet some of my horror heroes is like nothing else. Every year I go, I always hang out with my closest friends at the infamous pool party. While out there, it is not uncommon to hang out with people like Danny Trejo, Gary Busey, Jason Mewes, and one of my personal favorites, Bill Hinzmen.
I don’t mean to sound like an ad for the convention, but when a con does something right, I am more than happy to spread the word.
Text Z Day to (214)-734-3768 for a sneak peak!!
